If You Want To Start Learning Persian, Here Is The Place You Are Looking For.

Welcome to another free online course of the Persian language. Today, I am going to teach you the Persian alphabet. You learnt some Farsi letters in the last session here. However, you will learn all of them here in Iran beauties.

Before we jump right into the learning Farsi letters, it would be pleasing to look at a gorgeous picture of Iran nature. This picture is taken from Hamed Zohrabian. The location is Chaloos Road in the northern part of Iran.

What Are Farsi Letters And How They Are Pronounced? Do you want to know The Persian Alphabets?

Here, you will learn the Farsi alphabet. For each Persian letter, a video is placed. The first letter is " آ ". The sound is like " aa ". We usually write this letter like " ا " without the sign on the top of it.

Watch the video below. Pay attention to the Farsi letter " ا " in the words showing in the video. Listen carefully and repeat both the letter and the Farsi words.

The second Farsi letter is " ب " which is pronounced like " be " in English. Watch the video and listen carefully to the sound of this Farsi letter. Also, look at the new Persian words in the video.

The Farsi letter " پ " is like the previous one but having three dots beneath. This Farsi letter is pronounced like " pe ". Watch the video specified for the Farsi letter " پ ".

The Persian letter " ت " is written with two dots on the top of the Farsi letter. This etter has a sound like " te" in English. Watch the video and practise.
